Building Communities of Recovery (BCOR)

The Wellbeing Initiative, Inc. has received funding through SAMHSA for the Building Communities of Recovery program. Through targeted collaboration with health departments, jails, hospitals, and recovery community networks, this program will expand peer recovery support services and build stronger community partnerships to reduce stigma and build sustainable communities of recovery in Nebraska. This will include the expansion of harm reduction education and support for rural communities in Nebraska.

This program has allowed for three new Recovery Community Navigators to be hired. These Navigators will provide support to individuals who reside in Seward, York, Otoe and Saunders Counties in Nebraska. Please contact us if you have any questions!

BCOR serves Region 1 and Region 5 outside of Lancaster County in Nebraska!
